I love Jesus and am trying to figure out how to follow Him as best as I can. Many times it's a difficult journey, but I know it will be worth it. I am blessed to be apart of two ministries I adore and grow in.
I like being associated with smiles and laughter, but I'm learning that it's okay to not be happy all the time.
I have strawberry-blonde hair that I used to despise with everything in me. Only recently have I begun to appreciate the unique color of my hair.
I am a grandma in that I would rather go to bed early than stay up all hours of the night. I am one of the few college students who considers themselves to be a "morning person." My day is not complete without coffee. Outside of theaters, I fall asleep during almost every movie I watch. I would rather spend all my days reading. I was once called a nerd because I would rather read than party. I'm more than okay with that. My childhood officially ended on July 15, 2011 at 2am, with the final release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2.
I am more left-brained than right-brained. I like order, grammar, and lists. I am not artistic, but I am creative. I enjoy writing, music, and photography, although I am not much good at them. I am terrible when it comes to painting, drawing, etc. I only do things I'm good at.
As cliche as it is, I am a sucker for anything acoustic. My heart melts when a boy plays guitar. The Rocket Summer is my favorite musician and I adore Bryce Avary with everything in me.
I recently went to India on my first mission trip. I left my heart there. I think about the children I encountered daily and yearn to go back.
I am currently in a very painful process of self-discovery. I am being told it's worth it, but I'm not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel just yet. In due time...
